pH and Alkalinity "The Comfort Duo"

​If your pH is too low (acidic), the water becomes aggressive, etching your plaster and eating through the copper in your heater. If it's too high, your chlorine becomes "lazy" and ineffective, and you’ll start to see white calcium crust (scaling) on your tiles. We keep your pH in the "Human Comfort Zone" (7.4 to 7.6) and balance your Total Alkalinity to act as a buffer against $pH$ swings. No more red eyes or itchy skin. We ensure the water is as gentle on your body as it is on your pool's plumbing.

 

Calcium Hardness & LSI Management

​Without LSI management, the Arizona heat evaporates water and leaves behind concentrated minerals. This leads to "calcium nodules" (ugly white bumps) on your pool floor and permanent white rings on your waterline tile that require expensive bead-blasting to remove. Arizona’s tap water is "hard" out of the faucet. We monitor the Langelier Saturation Index (LSI) to ensure your water is "balanced"—meaning it neither eats your pool nor clogs it with scale. We track your mineral "saturation point." We’ll tell you exactly when it's time for a drain-and-refill, preventing thousands of dollars in scale damage.

 

Stabilizer (CYA) & Chlorine Efficiency

​Without stabilizer, the Arizona sun can burn through all your chlorine in just 2 hours. However, if your stabilizer level gets too high (a common mistake for DIYers using pucks), your chlorine becomes "locked" and won't kill bacteria even if the levels look high on a test strip. We manage your Cyanuric Acid (Stabilizer) levels like a "sunscreen" for your chlorine. We maintain the perfect "Chlorine-to-CYA" ratio, ensuring your pool is always sanitized and safe for the kids to jump in at a moment's notice.

 

Your Weekly Chemistry Laboratory Report

Every service visit includes a detailed Chemistry Email Report, so you have a digital paper trail of your pool's health:

• Digital Testing Accuracy: We use professional-grade testing (not just unreliable paper strips) to get exact numbers.

• Chemical Tracking: See theaverage pH and Chlorine levels over time.

• Safety Alert: If a chemical treatment requires a "no-swim" period (like a heavy shock), it is highlighted in red at the top of your email.
